I stood into the room and went 'fuck' straight away cause this is a hate of mine when photographing things. I need bright and light, not dark! *cries*
So anyway, took me 2hrs to realise I could take pictures through my video setting, must day the quality of the image isn't as good a RAW setting, but it got me through the rest of the night.
Coming home and looking through my images, it makes me upset that I couldn't do great pictures over photographers can take. Make me think of all those people who turn to me and say 'oh a photography degree, must be a doddle' HA! I would rather take my A level maths again... I found that easier....
I'm stressed to my eyeballs, trying pass this frigging degree with a 2:1!!!
People don't seem to realise that if you don't get one little bit of your photograph correct, then everything fucks up!
When you're using film, you need to make sure your getting your exposure or aperture correct; otherwise it could be over exposed/under exposed and your whole shoot is ruined. This goes for developing your film, if you over develop or under develop for even a minute... Film completely ruined. If your solution isn't at the exact right temp... Well your film has no hope!
If only people knew how difficult it is to get that one perfect shot. I went out tonight, took 350 pictures... I have about 50 worth showing!
Photography isn't so easy, thats why after my degree I will not continue. I love it but, it's not for me. Unfortunately I don't know where my life is heading, somewhere good I hope.
